Get Your Beach On! Alaska Airlines Adds Service to Cabo San Lucas Resort Area Next Summer

​SACRAMENTO, Calif. December 15, 2016 – Alaska Airlines has announced it will begin new nonstop service between Sacramento (SMF) and San Jose Del Cabo (SJD) beginning Saturday, June 10. Initial service to this popular Mexican beach area will be once per week during the summer season.

In addition to new weekly nonstop service, passengers can make daily round-trip connections via San Diego (SAN) on Alaska Airlines’ new nonstop service that begins March 16.

Los Cabos International Airport is about half an hour from Cabo San Lucas and the beaches and resorts along the coastline at the tip of the Baja peninsula. Sacramento last had nonstop service to Cabo in 2010.

Alaska Airlines will operate the flight using Boeing 737 aircraft with the following schedule:

Sacramento - Los Cabos*  - 12:50 p.m. - 4:55 p.m 
Los Cabos - Sacramento*  -  5:55 p.m. - 8:04 p.m.

Alaska Airlines is located in Terminal B. Inbound arriving passengers from this new flight will clear customs and immigration in the Customs and Border Patrol facilities in Terminal B.
