Sacramento County Budget Hearings Continue, June 16, 9:30 a.m.

Sacramento, CA –The Board of Supervisors began hearings on the Recommended Budget on June 15, at the Sacramento County Administration Building located at 700 H Street. The hearings will continue through June 16 and possibly through June 17.

The Recommended Budget is the spending plan that covers the wide range of services provided by Sacramento County including Airports, Child Protection Services, District Attorney, Health and Human Services, Landfill Operations, Property Tax, Sheriff, Transportation, and many others.

Members of the public are invited to attend the hearings and may be heard regarding any item in the budget. The hearings can be viewed live on Metro Cable Channel 14​ or the web.

Tuesday's presentations (9:30 a.m.):    

  • IHSS Public Authority​
  • Health and Human Services    
  • Human Assistance    
  • All other County departments as needed
  • Capital Improvement Plan

If necessary, the hearings will continue Wednesday, at 9:30 a.m. The Board's approval of this Recommended Budget will allow operations to continue until the Final Budget hearings and approval in September.
