Airport Roadwork Scheduled

For October 29  - 30. May Impact Customers

Sacramento, CA. October 22, 2014 – Customers of Sacramento International Airport may experience traffic delays Oct. 29-30 when airport crews repave Airport Boulevard, the main roadway into the airport.

Single lanes will be closed periodically, with traffic control measures in place. Customers are advised to give themselves an extra 10-15 minutes if they are arriving during the peak travel times of 5-7 a.m., 11 a.m.- 3 p.m., or 9-11 p.m.

The roadway project begins this week, but most of the work will take place on Lindbergh and Crossfield Drives, which do not have direct access to the terminals. The roads into the Free Waiting Area, located on Crossfield Drive, may be impacted on Thursday, Oct. 23 and Friday, Oct. 24.
